Life with Christ is a Relationship not a Religion

Welcome to The Vision Plus Church Bakersfield!

My vision as a Pastor and Leader is to share the Gospel of Christ to others in an unconventional setting through outreach. To help people to overcome the barriers that has been built up in their lives because of poverty and the lack of education. This message of hope will be brought to the homeless, those in public parks, the abused, the rich, the poor, the sick, the lost and to anyone willing to listen and make a life-changing decision to quip themselves with spiritual principles.

My vision is to reach the unreachable, and spread the message of hope to those who have never step inside a church building. To encourage those who need someone who can listen to their plea and who is empathetic to them and will not judge them by what they look like or what they have been through in life. My goal is to reassure men and women of all ages through modeling the way with word that will encourage the heart, with acts of love and kindness and to instill in them godly principles and life-changing values, giving them a purpose and a new positive perspective in their life.

My vision through The Vision Plus Church is to create a learning culture with programs that will   educate, enhance awareness, develop skills and enrich the lives of those in the community, while empowering and equipping men, women and children of all ages with godly principles, with the focus on the youth ministry, discipleship and mentoring programs as the avenues to achieve the mission.

This vision has already been shared with my Director of missions for Kern County, the City of Bakersfield, my immediate Senior Pastor and all my fellow pastors and peers. I am presently working on fully developing all the necessary components to make this vision a reality.

Habakkuk 2:2-3 And the Lord answered me, and said: write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it will speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
